Even the earliest forms of civilization were familiar with the beneficial effects of perspiration.

Picture the first type of sauna, which was cultivated by the Finns: a fire, a few rocks and a tent. From this humble beginning to present day, sauna has become more widespread and popular than ever before, not least because of the refreshing and relaxing effects of this form of bathing.

Just a few minutes in the sauna are enough to help you forget even the busiest of day: switch off, relax and recharge the batteries. Taking a sauna restores the natural balance of both mind and body.

And as you enjoy perspiring, philosophizing, reflecting and relaxing, you are also helping to keep yourself fit. Because sauna bathing supports the body’s defenses, circulation and conditions the skin. It is no wonder then that the practice has survived for so long and continues to be popular.
